Hi there! I'm Ted Lang, Managing Director and site supervisor at Natural Roofs. I'm originally from Birmingham but now live and work in London / Essex.

 

My background is that I started in the corporate world, doing business development for various companies. I started greenroofing in 2018 as a way to supplement my income when I had intended to start university as a mature student. I loved greenroofing so much that I decided to start Henry Lang LTD.

 

Henry Lang LTD started doing commercial projects as a day rate subcontractor on big sites. Over the last 2-3 years, demand for more residential work has increased and that's where Natural Roofs comes in. Natural Roofs aims to make green roofing accessible to all - large construction sites down to residential sheds / walls / bike stores.

I enjoy learning new skills, and am always keen to get creative in my work. I'm particularly interested in biodiverse projects.
